Gombe National Park & Kigoma City Tour FAM Trip

The itinerary below follows the revised S!TE 2026 post-event FAM Trip dates from 26th to 29th October 2026.

Day 1 26th Oct 2026

Travel to Kigoma and Transfer to Gombe

After early breakfast at the hotel, drive to JNIA to catch a domestic flight to Kigoma.
Pick up at Kigoma Airport and proceed to Kigoma Town for lunch break.
Transfer by ferry or boat to Gombe National Park.
Dinner and overnight at a designated tented lodge or camp.

Day 2 27th Oct 2026

Chimpanzee Tracking Experience

After breakfast, embark on chimpanzee tracking through the hills and forested areas of Gombe.
Enjoy packed lunch during the day experience.
Return to the lodge for relaxation and optional swimming.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.

Day 3 28th Oct 2026

Lake Tanganyika and Kigoma City Experience

After breakfast, depart from Gombe National Park to Kigoma Town.
Explore selected attractions around Kigoma and Lake Tanganyika.
Experience local tourism products, culture and lake-based activities.
Dinner and overnight in Kigoma.

Day 4 29th Oct 2026

Return to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
Transfer to Kigoma Airport for the domestic flight back to Dar es Salaam.
End of Gombe National Park and Kigoma City Tour FAM Trip.
