This trip will explore the unique landscapes and wildlife of Gombe National Park, home to Tanzania’s famous chimpanzees, alongside visits to Kigoma Town and Lake Tanganyika, one of the world’s deepest and clearest freshwater lakes.

NOTE:

For S!TE 2026, some of the FAM trips, including those to Serengeti and Mafia Island, will be paid experiences, while others will be sponsored or subsidized. These trips will allow key stakeholders to experience firsthand the luxury, adventure, and natural beauty Tanzania has to offer, thus enhancing their ability to sell and promote these destinations to potential tourists. The FAM trips will also be valuable for strengthening Tanzania's position as a top global travel destination, providing participants with memorable, on-the-ground experiences of Tanzania’s most renowned sites.

After early breakfast at your hotel, drive to JNIA to catch up domestic flight to Kigoma (approximately 3 hours).
Pick up at Kigoma Airport, drive to Kigoma Town for Lunch break, and catch a ferry to Gombe National Park.
Dinner and Overnight at a Designated tented lodge/ Camp

24th Oct 2026

After breakfast embark on Chimpanzee tracking through the hill and mountains with packed lunch
Back in your lodge for relaxation and swimming. Dinner and overnight.

25th Oct 2026

After breakfast, board the boat for a lake cruise and back to Kigoma Town. Checking in at the designated hotel for a short break.
Embark on Town Tours, Enjoy the Cultural Experience, and visit Dr. Living Stone Memorial Museum at Ujiji.
Drive back to the Hotel for a B2B meeting with Tourism stakeholders in Kigoma.
Dinner and overnight

After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Kigoma Airport to catch a flight to Dar Es Salaam (Airport)
Landing at JNIA, Start arrangements for your international flight back to your respective country.
