While Zanzibar is probably the most popular island in East Africa, the small archipelago around Mafia Island, just 160km to its south, remains virtually unknown. Yet for simple ocean pleasures, the Mafia has long been the connoisseur’s choice for genuinely laid-back, feet-in-the-sand island chilling, Diving that ranks amongst the very best in the Indian Ocean, the coast is lined with tangled mangroves and a few golden bays, where traditional dhows and kayaks are launched into the turquoise waters. After early breakfast at your hotel, drive to JNIA to catch up domestic flight to Mafia Islands. Pick up at Mafia Airstrip to the designated lodge/ camp Short rest before the evening program Embark on the Evening Sand Bank Picnic. Dinner and overnight. |

After breakfast embark for whale shark activities on diving and snorkeling Lunch at the local restaurant along the beach. Meeting with Tourism stakeholders and accommodation facilities inspection. Dinner and overnight. |

DAY 3 - 16.10.2024 |
WEDNESDAY |

After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Mafia Airport to catch a flight to Dar es salaam International Airport Landing at Dar es salaam International Airport Start arrangements for your international flight back to your respective country. |
NOTES
This tour shall end in Dar es Salaam hence it is advised that your international departure flight be through Julius Nyerere International Airport on 16th October 2024.( Evening hours)
Those who may wish to spend more days in Tanzania can do so at their expense as TTB hospitality ends on 16th October 2024.
