Ruaha National Park is one of Tanzania’s famous wilderness areas where one can have a rare experience of game viewing spiced up by the fascinating landscape. The park is rich in plants and wild animals such as Greater Kudu which can’t be found easily in other parks. The park forms an untouched and unexplored ecosystem, making visitors’ safari experience- a truly African wilderness adventure. Visitors can explore the park’s beauty through Walking safaris, Hot air balloon safaris adventure, game drives, tourist activities in the Greater Ruaha River, and cultural tourism activities in the communities surrounding the park.

While in Iringa, you will explore one of the world-class Stone Age Sites, Chief Mkwawa’s Fort, Iringa Boma Museum, breathtaking views, and rock art paints. A visit to community development projects and a sampling of local food and wine will be part of the program.

DAY 1 - 14.10.2024

 MONDAY

 

 

Early breakfast at your Dar es Salaam Hotel and departure to Ruaha National Park via chartered airplane.

Landed at Msembe Airstrip for game drive.

Drive to the designated lodges for lunch and a short break

Embark on the evening game drive until late hours

Drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 2 - 15.10.2024

 TUESDAY

 

 

After early breakfast at the designated lodge, drive to Iringa Town and Game en route.

Stop at Tungamalenga for Cultural Tourism Experience.

Proceed with a drive to Iringa Town for lunch and Checking in a selected hotel for a short rest.

Embark on Tourism Stakeholders B2B meeting at the designated venue. Dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 3 - 16.10.2024

 WEDNESDAY

 

 

After breaking fast at your hotel, proceed with the Iringa town tour, visiting the most iconic, historical, and traditional attractions.

After lunch in Iringa Town, embark on driving to Mufindi for horse riding, canoeing, and agrotourism activities.

Dinner and overnight at designated hotels/lodges at Mufindi.

 

DAY 4 - 17.10.2024

THURSDAY

 

After breakfast, drive to Iringa Airport and fly to Dar Es Salaam International Airport.

Proceed with the international departures procedure at JNIA before catching your flight back to your Country.

NOTES

This tour shall end in Dar es Salaam hence it is advised that your international departure flight be through Julius Nyerere International Airport on 17th October 2024.

Those who may wish to spend more days in Tanzania can do so at their expense as TTB hospitality ends on 17th October 2024.
